It would not be a wrong thing to say that Twitter officials have really scratched their brains to make sure that the safety of the site remains undisturbed. This is the reason that they have hired iOS hacker Charlie Miller for the same.

To reveal information about Charlie Miller then he is a mobile security expert, but he got attention in the market, when he hacked Apple's iPhone. Miller has confirmed that he will be joining the company on Monday. It seems that Millers’ aspirations have turned out to be true, as for a long time, he desired to work with Twitter.

A spokesman from Twitter was of the view that Miller will be positioned as Software Engineer in the company. Experts were of the view that it was a smart move taken up by the Twitter, as who knows better about hacking and other vulnerabilities than a hacker.

It is said that Miller would be making sure that the website is from any hacking attack and if some problems occurs then he will take care of the same. “It’s going to be bug genocide, my friend!” were the views of Miller, who wrote the same on his Twitter account.

He spent five years working for the National Security Agency.Miller demonstrated his hacks publicly on products manufactured by Apple. In 2008 he won a $10,000 cash prize at the hacker conference Pwn2Own in Vancouver Canada for being the first to find a critical bug in the ultrathin MacBook Air. The next year, he won $5,000 for cracking Safari. In 2009 he also demonstrated an SMS processing vulnerability that allowed for complete compromise of the Apple iPhone and denial-of-service attacks on other phones.

In 2011 he found a security hole in an iPhone's or iPad's security, whereby an application can contact a remote computer to download new unapproved software that can execute any command that could steal personal data or otherwise using iOS applications functions for malicious purposes. As a proof of concept, Miller created an application called Instastock that got approved by Apple's App Store. He then informed Apple about the security hole, who then promptly expelled him from the App Store.

Miller holds a Ph.D. in mathematics from the University of Notre Dame and currently lives in St. Louis, Missouri.
